It draws data from the tissue database held at the University of Canberra, verified records from museum collections, data from published accounts and records supplied by registered herpetologists.Species follow those listed by Georges and Thomson (2010) in Zootaxa. Drainage basins are those defined by the Commonwealth National Mapping Division of the Department of Minerals and Energy in 1975. All records have been verified to the extent that is possible using Google Earth, and species designations are considered accurate. Data where the species identity or the locality data are uncertain have been omitted.
